Description
Reworked throughout with drypoint, printed on simili-japon paper. Ref: ClŽment-Janin 25; BN-IFF 39-1. State before the typographic text of a poem by Bruant. It seems that this composition is not actually the one mentioned by ClŽment-Janin, which is very similar, but in reverse. I have never encountered the print illustrated by C-J; only impressions of the present work. Even the impression in the Biblioth?que Nationale (BN) is similar to ours. The image is a bit smaller than the plate, and only measures: 13 1/2 x 9 3/8 inches.
