Azalea Flowers in a Chinese Vase
Graphite, colored pencil, conté crayon and ink wash on thick tan wove paper.
While color etching by Everbag are not uncommon, and paintings also surface once in a great while, drawings by the artist are very scarce. This one is quite finished. It is very likely a preparatory drawing for an etching. This very vase is also used in a color etching depicting Sweet William flowers (dianthus barbatus).
Size given is the sheet.
