Une Matinée d’Hiver au Quai de l’Hôtel-Dieu (original French title) 

Etching, drypoint, and aquatint printed in black ink on thick wove paper, 1876. 
Reference: Bourcard &Goodfriend 123 xiii/xv. 
Thirteenth of fifteen states; the second published state, after Buhot completely revitalized the plate which had been worn out by prior printings. 
This is one of Buhot's most beloved compositions and is also know as Les Fiacres (The Hackney Cabs), or colloquially by print collectors as The Cab Stand. The quai depicted here is today known as the Quai des Fleurs on the Île de la Cité. 
Signed with the artist’s large red owl monogram stamp (Lugt 977).
