A very fine impressions in excellent condition, with the colors as fresh as we have ever seen them.  A few very faint scattered fox marks, which are hardly noticeable and completely unobtrusive.  Cleaning these would be a shame and rist attenuating these amazing colors.

The blue, brown, beige, and black inks all “pop” to create a dimensional and vibrant sense of space which owes to Vuillard’s study of Japanese prints, but resulted in some of the most forward thinking uses of color and space anywhere at this time.

Amusingly, the title refers to cooking, which is not part of this scene.  The cook is drying dishes.
