Etching and aquatint printed in warm brownish-black ink on simili-japon wove paper.
Reference: Bourcard & Goodfriend 151 iv/iv.
Signed with the large red owl stamp (Lugt 977).
A very fine impression, faintly time-toned, with good margins.
Provenance: San Francisco Museum of Art (J. H. Bender collection);
Alden Galleries. Kansas City, MO (with the old price tag of $50 - circa 1930).
With the J and G (Jim Goodfriend) initials, forming a butterfly in pencil, on the verso.
