Seiko TACHIBANA

Seiko Tachibana is a contemporary printmaker whose work blends traditional intaglio techniques with a poetic sensibility rooted in observation and material nuance. Born in Japan in 1979, she pursued her artistic training both in Tokyo and abroad, earning an MFA in printmaking from the Royal College of Art in London. Tachibana’s prints often reflect a deep ecological awareness, with natural forms such as plants, water, and sky emerging through layered textures and subtle color harmonies.
