La Bouillabaisse: Menu Sescau

Date
1895
Description

Lithograph printed in olive-green ink on wove paper.
References: Delteil 144; Wittrock 94.
Edition unknown but certainly very small.

This menu was created for a dinner given by the photographer Paul Sescau, who was a friend of Lautrec. He is depicted playing the banjo, while Maurice Guibert, who was also an amateur photographer and friend is caricatured in the top right corner.
A very fine impression in very good condition, aside from faint scattered oil spatter visible only faintly on the recto, unobtrusive.
