TWO PRINTS

Dormeurs sur un Banc

Etching, aquatint and drypoint printed in colors on laid paper, 1899.
Reference: Tabanelli 11.
According to Tabanelli, one of a total of about 50 impressions, some in black and white, some in color.
Considering the rarity of this composition, this number seems unlikely.
With the blind stamp of Sagot in the lower left sheet corner (Lugt 2254).
Provenance: André Barrier, with his red monogram stamp (Lugt 70d).
Signed in pencil.

Very fine impression in good condition, with mild discoloration throughout the sheet, especially at the top. 

Les Orphelins Arméniens

Soft ground and etching on japon-collé, 1910.
Reference: Tabanelli 304.
One of a handful of known impressions.  According to Tabanelli intended to be used as a cover for a ball given by the Société des Dames Arméniennes in Paris on March 3rd 1910 (no traces found). Extremely scarce.
Japon size: 5 ½ x 3 ½ inches.

Very good impressions in excellent condition.
