Le Blanc mentioned that this plate was destroyed before being editioned. Extremely scarce in any state. In this first state the artist notes that there is only one impression, ours.
Annotated in ink "E. forte pure - 1er Etat - Unique" and signed in ink in the plate. Also monogrammed in ink below the plate.
