It is unclear where Kihara was residing when he printed this aquatint. He has enrolled at Atelier 17 in Paris in 1970 and honed his printmaking skills there. But Kihara learned quickly and by 1975 his technique was masterful, as this print amply demonstrate. It is also not clear whether the silver tint in the background is printed, or obtained with the use of a chine-collé. Signed, numbered, dated, and titled in pencil.
