Monique WALES

Monique Wales is a California-based printmaker whose work draws on the rhythms of nature and the vulnerability of the environments we share. Working primarily with relief and intaglio processes — including linocut, woodcut, and collagraph — she constructs richly layered surfaces that balance ecological memory and private meditation.
An active member of the Pacific States Print community, Wales has shown her work across the United States, earned recognition in juried exhibitions, and produced numerous editions focused on environmentally conscious materials and processes.
