A very fine impression on semi-gloss paper. One small unobtrusive nick in the bottom right black area. Gum residue from being dry-mounted. Overall, still in very fine condition.
A long-time resident of Cleveland, Cagan has increasingly turned to what he calls activist photography. In this image, one of his most famous renditions of industrial Cleveland, the poetic beauty of steel manufacturing by strong spotlight also makes visible the steamy byproduct of its smelting.
