Margery Newcomb Wilson

A Newport painter, teacher, and draftsman, Margery Newcomb Wilson (1890-1981) exhibited at the Newport Art Association and contributed to WWII efforts at the Naval Torpedo Station. While primarily a painter, she also produced rare lithographs such as Transfiguration (1934), an evocative composition of light and symbolic renewal.
