We got nothing!  Luisa is the great unknown.  He may as well be anonymous.  His full name “Luisa de Rosa” was handed down to us, and may well be wrong.  We don’t know who she/he is, let alone any biographical details.  All we have is this one drawing, most certainly published in some daily or weekly in Paris around the end of the 19th century.  It’s a fine drawing, clearly done by an artist who knew what he was doing and with a sense of humor.  The male suitor his trying to woo the object of his desires with fancy phrases, letting her know how strongly his heart burns for her.  She’s having none of it, and tells him that, he is, indeed, full or hot air!
