G. Angelvy

Not much can be confirmed about the signature G. Angelvy beyond the possible attribution to Giuseppe Angelvy Angelos (Italian/French,1824-1889) a realist painter known for his charming farmyard scenes featuring animals such as  chickens, roosters, and ducks. Angelos, was tangentially associated with the Barbizon school and influenced by artists such as Jean-François Millet and Jules Breton.
