Fumio FUJITA

Renowned for his modern take on traditional Japanese printmaking techniques, Fumio Fujita (Born 1933) is an artist of the sosaku hanga art movement who came to prominence in post-war Japan. Creating detailed woodblock prints of natural landscapes, his works often capture serene forests, mountains, and rural scenes in vivid colors. He began exhibiting his woodblocks in 1963 and has continued to participate in numerous one-man gallery shows and group exhibitions throughout the past several decades.
