Dennis CORRIGAN

Dennis Corrigan (b. 1944) is an American surrealist whose prints, paintings, and drawings reimagine historical, cultural, and everyday figures in witty, dreamlike scenarios. Trained at the Philadelphia College of Art with a focus on print and design, he produced notable editions for publishers such as Associated American Artists, including Brahms Amusing Himself (1983), which demonstrates his command of etching and aquatint, meticulous draftsmanship, and gift for narrative irony. His works are represented in significant public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Library of Congress.
