Daniel MILLSAPS

Daniel Millsaps (1929–1982) was known primarily as a painter, arts administrator, writer, and arts advocate based in Washington, D.C. He founded the Washington International Arts Letter newsletter and worked on arts funding and cultural policy, as documented in the Archives of American Art. We were unable to learn anything more about this rare woodcut in our inventory, created when the artist was just eighteen years old.
