Description

Ink wash with touches of white gouache, watercolor, and crayon or chalk, drawn on the verso of a sheet of thin wove paper, with a French architectural plan drawing.

Attributed to Albert Adam, based on pencil annotations on the verso. We doubt this attribution.

Short tear in the top sheet edge and longer horizontal tear (ca. 1 inch) in the bottom right sheet edge; neither very noticeable.
