Les Grands Ormes (env. De Paris) (original French title)
Color aquatint on wove paper, circa 1905. Trial proof of the second state, according to the artist’s own annotation. It seems that if an edition of this aquatint, possibly the artist’s largest, was ever printed, it was destroyed. There are no records of it in any public collection or book we could find. Possibly unique. Signed, titled, numbered “no 35”, and annotated in pencil.
Bearing what seems to be the ghost of the artist’s stamp (not in Lugt).
