One of about 6 to 8 impressions only in this state, of which at least three are in public collections.
According to Delteil there may have been one or two impressions of the first state, before the monogram.
Our impression is mentioned by Adriani. At the time it belonged to the famous Parisian book dealer Marcel Lecomte.
It is annotated with a menu, dated April 28, 1897.

The sheet was folded, likely at the end of the meal, to be easily taken home as a memento.
