Le Ruysdaël or Chemin en Forêt (original French titles)

Etching on chine-collé on thick wove paper.
References: Beraldi 88, BN-IFF 109.
This etching is after an original drawing by Dutch painter Jacob van Ruisdael, not unlike the one held by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  At the time the drawing was in the possession of a collector named by Bléry in his annotation as “Monsieur Simon”.
