Description

Color intaglio viscosity print, with mica ink, printed on wove paper.
Edition of 120.
Signed and numbered in pencil.

The artist obtains effects that resemble velour in the thickly inked groves.  He also used mica in his silver ink, which lends some light shimmer to the background of the figure.  The title of this print, likely after the tourist beach town in India, is cryptic.  The composition seems pretty clearly inspired by a heavily framed painting or print by Pablo Picasso.

The slightest toning on the verso, unobtrusive.
