Alec COWAN
British-born Alec Cowan (1912-1985) established his career in California, settling in Laguna Beach. Cowan worked primarily in etching and color block prints, often adding aquatint. With contemplative impressions of scenic seaside life, the artist embraced the light and atmosphere of the southern California coast.
