Louis LOZOWICK
Ukrainian-American artist Louis Lozowick (1892-1973) chronicled the beauty and structure of bridges, factories, and cityscapes. As part of the Modernist movement Precisionism, he is a master printmaker and virtuoso draughtsman, and his most famous lithographs depict urban and industrial subjects, especially in New York City. While atypical in subject matter, the current prints in our inventory are impressive examples of his powerful rendering of light and form.
